The minimum age is in the UK to use a sun bed is 18.
It is recommended to leave at least 48 hours between each sun bed session.
Keeping your skin well moisturised is key - it helps your tan to last longer and develop faster. Drink plenty of water and moisturise daily for the best results.
Eye protection is highly recommended when using a sun bed. We have free eye protection available for all customers in reception.
Using a lotion on the sun bed helps you achieve a faster, deeper and longer lasting tan while keeping your skin hydrated and healthy.
Yes, you should remove both makeup and jewellery before using the sun bed. Makeup can create a barrier on the skin, leading to uneven tanning. Jewellery can leave tan lines and may become hot during the session, causing discomfort or irritation.
It is recommended not to use sun beds whilst pregnant unless first consulting your GP & midwife.
You should wait until your tattoo is healed completely before using a sun bed. The tattoo should not be dry to touch. It is also recommended to use a tattoo protector, we have these available to purchase.
When you visit V Lounge for the first time, you’ll be asked to complete a registration form and provide identification. After that we’ll register your fingerprint to create your personal account.
What you wear on the sun bed is entirely up to you — some customers prefer to tan nude, while others choose underwear or swimwear. There’s no need to bring anything with you, as we provide free eye protection, makeup wipes, hairbands, and deodorant at reception for your convenience.
Regular courses are valid for 6 months from the day of purchase. Unlimited courses will expire after the specified number of days purchased. There is a 12 minute daily limit on unlimited courses. All courses are non refundable and non transferable.
Everyone’s skin responds differently when building a tan, as it depends on individual skin type and how often you tan. On average, a deep base tan can be developed within 2–4 sessions. Our experienced team is always available to offer guidance and answer any questions you may have.
At V Lounge, we use premium Sienna X tanning solutions, offering a variety of shades to ensure every tan is perfectly matched to each individual’s skin tone and desired result.
Spray tan solution contains an ingredient called DHA (dihydroxyacetone), a colourless sugar that reacts with the proteins and amino acids in the outer layer of your skin to produce a natural looking golden glow.
